Another sharp little crate weapon from the French camp Jackin' Disco; volume six sticks to the label's simple formula, that is one modern house classic paired with the disco DNA from which its energy was lifted. On the A wriggles 'One More Time' by Daft Punk - the 2000 anthem which shot the French house wave to space-needling heights - while the flip digs back to 's It All Over My Face' by Loose Joints; Arthur Russell and Steve D'Acquisto's sleazy, downtown disco staple from 1980. Like the rest of the series, it's a neat A/B lesson in dancefloor lineage, knowing and showing just where the groove came from.
