New York-based Steve1der made his name in the bootleg and edits world, his remixes picking up support from Laidback Luke, DJ Snake and Diplo - and now, on what appears to be his first record, one of his best recent mashups resurfaces as the inaugural release on Treats. The A here began life as a low-key bootleg mashup of Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine's 1985 hit 'Conga', the original title being 'Conga Shake' - perhaps the renaming is intentional, though there's no telling. Either way, worth knowing before you buy it expecting a straight re-edit of a song your mum owns; proper bangercraft, preserving the orignal's body-shaking brass and chirpy lyrics.
