Tokyo's finest Onegram - formed by reggae singer Sakko in collaboration with a panoply of fellow musicians, all hailing from Miyazaki Prefecture - deliver two fantastic live jazz-dancehall-electro remixes of their version of Kraftwerk's 'Trans-Europe Express' here. On DJ Koco's version, we hear crisp drumming and strange synthetic vocaloids, both of which make this cut an instant favourite for any mid-tempo selector seeking a weirdo-live feel. The B-side is no less beguiling, completely reworking the core motifs of the song into a trembly, retro-tonal, bitcrushed electro version. Phat!
