More 'mini-edits' from London scalpel fiend Guest, with the mysterious producer offering up an eighth seven-inch single sporting two more light-touch rearrangements. Up first is 'You Did It Good', a wide-eyed chunk of loved-up jazz-funk/soul fusion topped off by punchy horns, loved-up acoustic guitars and a Stevie Wonder style lead vocal (for the avoidance of doubt, it's not the Motown great). Flipside 'Magic Dance' meanwhile, sees our hero tweak a breathy, spaced-out chunk of what sounds like turn-of-the-80s proto electro - a track that bears some sonic similarities to Cat Stevens pioneering 1977 cut 'Was Dog a Doughnut'.
