Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett's Gorillaz are living out their dreams. At this point in their career it's hard to think of anybody who would turn down a guest appearance on the album. Moreover, the estate's of artists who are posthumously appearing are similarly unhesitant. Fans of the band since the early days will welcome a second appearance from Americana icon Denis Hopper, whose voice features on this album's opening track after narrating 'Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head' on 2005's Demon Days. Bobby Womack - one of Gorillaz' best ever guest artists and key contributors to their third album Plastic Beach - welcomingly appears on the single 'Moon Cave'. Other highlights include 'Happy Dictator', which is inspired by a trip that Damon Albarn took to Turkmenistan in Central Asia and sees Californian art pop legends Sparks bring a breezy summer energy to this song where melodies levitate.
