DJ HOMICIDE / J DIGGINS
Ain't No Beat Bop

Format: hand-numbered clear blue & black splattered vinyl 7" limited to 300 copies
Genre: Hip Hop/R&B

With KDAY in his ears and Pasadena under his feet, DJ Homicide came up through California DJ culture before eventually landing behind Sugar Ray's turntables and here he crashes into Diggers Delights for a properly rowdy 45. 'Ain't No Beat Bop' comes in heavy at 96bpm, chopping an old-school favourite into a track built to rattle a club system. Flip for 'Never On Time', where label boss Diggns splices rap and r&b into a cheekier party blend at the same tempo. Two DJ's, two tracks, absolutely no interest in behaving themselves.
