2015 heard to Blue Neighbourhood as Troye Sivan's move from online-only visibility to a sustained recording career; one of the first stars to make this trajectory, the album focused on suburban distance, first intimacy and queer adolescence, and was notably one of the first ever mainstream pop LPs not to encode its queer text in shrouds of ambiguity, with Sivan singing openly of same-sex encounters. Its rollout was shaped as much by visuals as by songs, with a sequence of interconnected films lending it an imprintable memorability. The tenth-anniversary edition returns with newly reworked artwork by original illustrator Hsiao-Ron Cheng and adds 'Strawberries & Cigarettes' and 'Swimming Pools', tracks recorded during the original sessions but released later.
