One of two 7"s released at the same time by the Daptone stall: 'Waiting On The Right Time' and its counterpart 'One & The Same' see select singles from contemporary midnight reggae realtors Thee Sacred Souls, specifically from their recent Got A Story To Tell LP, remixed by Victor Axelrod of Brooklyn Afrobeat, soul and dubbing fame. 'Waiting On The Right Time' is a quiet but joyous unskippable, but if you listen closely, lead singer Josh Lane isn't laughing, despite the bouncing tone: he's timing things right, "but if I wait too long, I might lose everything I've searched for..."
