Here's one of two 7"s released simultaneously by the Daptone stall: 'One & The Same' and its counterpart 'Waiting On The Right Time' both remix select tunes from contemporary midnight reggae realtors Thee Sacred Souls with their recent Got A Story To Tell LP, handing them over to Victor Axelrod (Ticklah) and his session ensemble The Inversions. The original 'One & The Same' is a damning call to justice, and an indictment of the comfortable: "Wealthy poeple turn a blind eye/when will the people realise?". The 'Same Difference' mix draws out the version further, as Josh Lane's falsetto cuts singularly through thick delay.
