A mysterious US hip-hop project under the name Jay Wes comes back for more, flipping a highly recognisable acapella on its instrumental head and turning in the second record in the equally elusive On The 45s series. The vocal ghost of 90s hip-hop haunts this entirely reconstructed beat, dubbed on the B-side in full funky fashion. The 7" carries with it the aura of a song never made - or, perhaps the same song, just operating in a completely different timeline.
