Side A's fantastically titled 'In Search of Broccoli' sees our shadowy scalpel field add a classic hip-hop acapella to a backing track crafted from loops and samples lifting from one of the most familiar, string-laden and loved-up slow disco-soul hits of the early 1980s. On the flip, he delivers something a little more adventurous: a dreamy, drowsy and lo-fi hip-hop lover's take on an Al Green classic that comes complete with skittish new MPC beats, deep bass and huggable chords.
