DJ MITSU THE BEATS feat ZIN / ROKA - Butterfly (7")

DJ MITSU THE BEATS feat ZIN / ROKA
Butterfly

Format: 7"
Genre: Balearic/Downtempo

Japanese hip-hop takes on an exotic flavour, as DJ Mitsu, formerly of local Sendai supergroup Gagle, helms up a three-person league - himself, plus vocalists Zin and Roka - all dealing in best-quality soul-flavoured beats. The 7" here emerges fresh from of a first-blush digital version, and in terms of production talent, the opener 'Butterfly' lifts only a section of lid, tapping the effervescent vocal talents of Zin for a nimbic beat drift. The B's 'Love We Share' is much more giving, its romance-epic strings and Roka vocal impressions marking a truly serene track about mature, imperfect love.
