SATIN DREAM - Stay Away From My Lover (Omakase 3 Min Cooking Edit) (7")

SATIN DREAM
Stay Away From My Lover (Omakase 3 Min Cooking Edit)

Format: 7"
Genre: Disco/Nu-Disco

Satin Dream was the 1981 one-shot disco project of one Lonnie Johnson, core keyholder of Patrick Adams' New York underground disco circle. 'Stay Away From My Lover' was killer enough that Muro and Dimitri From Paris have both played it out despite the original 12" staying scarce, and the 7" has existed only as a promo til now. Japanese back-to-back unit Omakase now apply their ongoing "3 Min Cooking" edit treatment to the song, only a single episode in their serial effort rerubbing the entire Brunswick Records catalogue. Their edit is soft and subtle, treating the beats only to the slightest transient beefing, making for a respectful flash-frying of the original.
