MY PHILOSOPHY
Episode 1
Format: hand-numbered 7" limited to 150 copies
Genre: Hip Hop/R&B
Limited-edition battle breaks 7" by way of My Philosophy/Vibetown, part of a numbered Episode series of DJ tools aimed dagger-eyes at the turntablist market. 'No Love Duplate' on the A-side mashes Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's 'The Next Episode' with a female ragga vocal carrying the hook; 'Rock & Comeen' on the B-side builds from a dancehall source in patois. The Vibetown catalogue runs across several releases in this series, all in the same wonderfully utilitarian mould.
