Predictably, Backactcha Records have once more unearthed some serious buried treasure. It comes from little-known New Jersey producer Jumani (real name Kenneth Dukes), a swingbeat and street soul producer who was briefly active in the mid 1990s before fading inro obscurity. 'We Can Work It Out', the artist's soul single, remains an unpolished gem - an effortlessly soulful, piano-splashed and sun-soaked slab of late street soul brilliance. On this reissue, we also get a previously unheard B-side, the smoother, warmer and even more classy 'Give It All To You'. Given original copies of the 1994 single go for eye-watering sums online, this is a genuinely essential reissue.
