Jazz N Palms returns with another batch of poolside tackle seemingly engineered for sunset sessions at Ibiza's Pikes Hotel, where jazz, Latin grooves and Balearic oddness tend to blur together after enough sangria and Mediterranean heat. The first track, 'Favourite', drifts in beautifully relaxed fashion as loose fusion grooves, warm bass movement and breezy guitar flourishes slowly unfurl across the mix. Fair play, it's very easy to imagine this one floating out across some overpacked terrace at golden hour. On the flip, 'Just' takes a slightly deeper turn, locking into hazier soul-jazz moods with richer low-end pressure and little cosmic touches flickering around the groove. Sophisticated but never smug, which is harder to pull off than people think.
