After 'Ours' is Auckland duo Michal Martyniuk and Nick Williams, and on 'Good Move', they blend jazz, soul, broken beat, and blues rock into two richly textured tracks taken from their latest album, which is a follow-up to their 2016 debut Odyssey. They are masters at weaving together live instrumentation with deep grooves and warm, nocturnal vibes as shown here. The track is split into two parts, both unhurried but moving, emotionally as well as physically and spiritually. Part 1 is heavy on the mellow jazz vibes, while Part 2 has a more strident and funky groove topped with some sexy sax work and laced up with lots of cute hooks.
